FIRST FEMALE PRESIDING BISHOP ELECTED!!!

Katherine Jefferts was elected as the first female Presiding Bishop of the United States, making her the first female Primate in the Anglican Communion.

Word came through the exhibit hall about ten minutes ago, eliciting cries of joy from members in the hall. Jefferts is a middle of the road candidate, tending a bit more toward the conservative side. Some rumors earlier in the week suggested that the conservatives would maneuver toward her in an effort to give them reason to finally leave the Episcopal Church.
